Job Responsibilities
  • The normal scope and work performed include but is not limited to:
  • The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As Duty Manager, you will deliver this through managing all aspects of the Front Office (for example guest registration, bell desk, telephone, concierge, gym & pool services etc.). You'll also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.
  • Day to Day Work:
  • Ensure entire hotel operations are running smoothly. If any issues arise, contact with concern and resolve them immediately. Guest-related and Safety & Security issues will get priority to resolve first.
  • Ensure the Front Office team delivers a great service, professional attention, and personal recognition
  • Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and make time to engage with guests. Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction
  • Oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports
  • Control hotel costs by managing the schedule according to occupancy and guest demands
  • Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner
  • Train team members on PABX procedures and serve as a central communications point during emergency/crisis situations; develop and maintain relationships with local fire, police, and emergency personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate daily guest discretion, ethical behavior, privacy, and confidentiality
  • Leading Front Office Teams
  • Ensure the Front Office team is working as per SOP
  • To ensure every single guest's complete satisfaction, you must play a prime role. You must contact the concerned at any time whenever support require
  • Manage day-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to improve team member performance
  • Educate and train team members in compliance with, state and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties
  • Ensure your team is properly trained on systems, security, service, and quality standard
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others

Educational Requirements Bachelor degree in any discipline Any degree in hotel management/hospitality will be preferred
Experience Requirements 3 to 5 year(s)
